Biography

Misha Terzic (Miroslav Terzić) is a Serbian film director and screenwriter based in Belgrade, with a body of work spanning feature films, commercials and photography.

His third feature, 3 Weeks After (2026), had its world premiere in the Crystal Globe Competition at the 60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, where it won the Europa Cinemas Label for Best European Film. It went on to receive three Golden Arenas at the Pula Film Festival — for Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Editing — as well as the Golden Mimosa for Best Screenplay at the Herceg Novi Film Festival. Terzic also received the Best Director award at the KineNova International Film Festival in Skopje for the film. Jovan Ginić won the El Gouna Star for Best Actor at the 2026 El Gouna Film Festival for his performance in 3 Weeks After.

His second feature, Stitches (2019), premiered in the Panorama section of the Berlin International Film Festival, winning the Europa Cinemas Label and taking second place in the Panorama Audience Award for fiction films. His debut feature, Redemption Street (2012), screened at the São Paulo International Film Festival.

Alongside his feature films, Terzic has directed commercials for more than three decades, collaborating with leading agencies and international and regional brands including Coca-Cola, Heineken, Carlsberg, Nestlé, A1, T-Mobile, Telekom, Raiffeisen Bank and Banca Intesa.

His work is shaped by an interest in performance, visual storytelling and the tensions beneath everyday life.
